Conference

You can use your Flexi system in the best way by using the existing voice channels for telephone conferences. You might have to order some additional voice channels to ensure that your need for conferences is met by all conference participants/conferences at the same time as other Flexi functions in the system. For example, if you start off with 6 voice channels and need a total of 10 for conferences, you could order 4 or possibly 6 channels. Using 10 voice channels, you could set up two simultaneous conferences with 5 participants in each, or 4 in one and 6 in the other one. The number of conference participants is only limited by the number of licences and voice channel.

The conference function uses the same voice channels as all other Flexi functions, fully dynamically and automatically!

You configure your PBX to direct a certain call number (DNIS) to Flexi and then link this number to the conference function. You then invite the other participants you want to have participate, give them the date and time, phone number and PIN to join up your particular conference. It is a good idea to use your own extension as the PIN, so that you always know you have your “own” conference. It can’t be simpler!
